Viewed As Righteous

Romans 1:17

It’s easy to feel like God has left us out of His greatest gift of salvation, especially when we’re struggling. I’ve been there. I’ve looked at my past, seen all the mistakes, and felt unworthy of the Christian life. But here’s what I know now: God doesn’t judge the way men do. He doesn’t let our past determine our future. Through faith in Jesus, we’re made whole again. It’s not about what we’ve done, but what He did. The day I truly believed, everything changed. I stopped trusting in myself and trusted in Jesus’ finished work at Calvary. He paid the price. He completed the work. Because of Him, we’re saved and seen as righteous before God. I pray the excerpt from Prophet T.B. Joshua touches your heart, just as it did mine.

Viewed As Righteous

💡
Romans 1:17 – For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Give thanks to God for viewing you as righteous. The fact that you are alive today, in the presence of God, still pressing, still climbing higher, still learning more about Jesus, shows you are viewed as righteous through His Son, Jesus Christ. If God were to consult your past to determine your future, you would not be here.
This righteousness is not by our power and might but by the grace of God we are who, where, and what we are. When it is time for God’s grace to come upon us, it will put an end to our personal struggle and labour. Righteousness is not for all who confess but for all who believe. Righteousness is Christ Himself.
With God’s gift of righteousness, you are set free from the burden of guilt, condemnation, fear, and inferiority complex. We are saved by grace and that through faith, lest any man should boast in his own ability and power. Faith is not a product of the reasoning faculties but of the recreated spirit. Those who are led by the recreated spirit are not under the law.
You know that going by your antecedents, you should not be viewed as a righteous one—but because Jesus Christ was raised from death that you might receive a new life, you are viewed as righteous through God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
If we are viewed as righteous through His Son, Jesus Christ, we can boldly approach God through His Son with the faith to believe that God hears and answers prayer. Therein lies the peace and comfort in Christ Jesus. – Prophet TB Joshua
