John 14:6, “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’.” Here, Christ is the way, the truth and the life. That is, He is the beginning, the middle and the end. As the truth, He is the source. As the life, He is the end of it. Hear His Master’s statement: “No one can approach God but through Me”. The sinner cannot reach God except through Jesus. The unsaved might cry for a thousand years – but if there is no Mediator, there would be no hope for them because no man can approach God without a Mediator. Because of sin, our relationship with God Almighty was cut off; therefore, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to restore the relationship and fellowship between God and man. He paid the price for our sin at the Cross of Calvary. Now, we have Someone at the right hand of God, interceding for us, whoever remains faithful. In every temptation, in every trial, in every hard place, Jesus ever lives to pray for us. That is the reason for our victory. Although our situation may seem difficult, because of Jesus Christ, there is no real evil in it. Our difficulties and challenges as Christians are not to impair us but to improve us. Hard times are meant to draw you closer to the Author of the life you seek. To withstand hard times, stand with Christ, then, the victory is as sure as the rising of the sun! Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, be my Mediator. Secure my life, future, destiny by the blood of Jesus Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ name!
