Our Hiding Place

In this world, we are bound to be frightened – there is oppression everywhere. We are living in a complex and contradictory world, a generation without faith and hope. The psalmist also found himself in a world he could not understand, a world full of dangers and darkness but he found refuge in God and did not want to let Him go. He said, Psalm 32:7 – “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.” It is the character of a true believer that he dwells in the secret place of the Most High God. He is at home with God, returns to God and rests in Him. He is their Refuge and Shelter, their hiding place; they shall have a residence under God’s protection. Even though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil because they are safe with Him.
