Before you read what follows, pause for a moment. Life may have brought weariness, longing, or quiet confusion to your heart. If so, know you are not alone. Many who walk with God pass through valleys long before reaching mountaintops. Yet every step holds divine purpose. We all desire victory in warfare but few face the battle it requires. We pray for breakthrough yet resist the very process that brings it. God does not reward those who flee trials but those who endure them. Joseph endured betrayal and prison. David faced rejection and battles. Abraham endured silence and the slow unfolding of promise. Still, they held on. What are you enduring today? Just read on. You may find in Prophet TB Joshua’s words below, the strength your soul has been crying out for.
Don’t Give Up
💡
“If Joseph had given up in the dry pit, he would never have become the Prime Minister of Egypt. If David had given up in the face of discouragement from men, he would not have been used mightily by God to defend his people.
When faced with challenges, temptation, or worse still your own awful sin, are you tempted to give up? Instead of allowing their tests to turn into promotion, many quit on life, many give up and divorce, many forget their dream.
If God Almighty had given up on you when you ignored Him, when you rejected Him, when you disobeyed His commands, you would not be here today. Jesus never gives up on those who have made mistakes with their lives.
And from Him, one day at a time, one hour at a time, we receive the courage, strength, and conviction to stand our ground (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Ask God for the courage to hope and not give up in Jesus’ name.” — Prophet TB Joshua
